Bremen Architecture Workshop

Theme: Around the Europe Port (Europahafen) in the Overseas City (Überseestadt) Bremen - Interpretation of public space, spatial experiments, temporary architecture, stage for experiments. The aim of the workshop will be to analyse the selected area and to develop architectural and landscape shaping ideas for dedicated places. The objective is to characterise public space, to develop new definitions by visual landmarks and symbols and space creating accents, to develop spatial installations and ideas for experimental architecture and temporary buildings. The outcome of these activities should be an increase of importance of this unused space in the form of a temporary usage or placeholders developed for a prospective structural development.
