NEW EPOC project summary

Patras 2003NEW EPOC has provided port cities and decision makers with information, expertise and a set of tools – evolved from effective policies and strategies, good practices and comparative analyses – opening up perspectives and ways for successfully managing the process of economic diversification and consolidation in maritime cities in a socially and ecologically compatible manner. Different dimensions, influencing prosperity of a port city, are taken into account in order to cope with maintaining the economic vitality of port cities. The co-operation is based on existing partnerships, already established within the Maritime Cities Network (MCN) and will be extended and intensified.

 - Program and total funding: Interreg IIIC, 2,054 Million EUR
 - Project duration: 07/2003 – 06/2006 + 1 year extension
